Ervin H. Sketchley

Ervin H. Sketchley of Levittown died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Chandler Hall, Newtown. He was 67.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Sketchley had been a resident of Levittown since 1972.

He was employed with Lockheed Martin for many years before retiring.

Mr. Sketchley was a member of the William Penn Fire Company for 30 years where he served as treasurer.

He was an avid fan of all of the Philadelphia sports teams and enjoyed playing softball. He also enjoyed collecting matchbox cars.

Mr. Sketchley was the loving father of Troy and his wife, Charlene, of Fairless Hills; brother of Gerald B. Sketchley of North Hills, and Sandra E. Sketchley of Abington; and uncle of Bethany L. Sketchley. He will be sadly missed by his cousin Nancy J. Scheutz. He also is survived by his favorite grandpuppies Salina and Spencer.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown Interment will be held privately.
