    Re: Apparatus Happenings

I noticed on Warminster's site that they now have new utility's for Stations 91 & 92.  Can anyone tell me what year they are and if they are F250 or F350's ?

    Many thanks,

    Bruce

    Re: Apparatus Happenings

I heard that Station 32 got a 2009 Ford F350 with a utility body on it.

    1) Who's utility body is it ?

    2) Color

    3) Gas or diesel.

Anybody else got anything new to report ?

    Many thanks,

    Bruce

    Re: Apparatus Happenings

Station 32 has placed in service a 2009 Ford F350 pick up truck. It has a Reading utility body on it, white in color with a diesel motor. The unit will run as Utility 32 and be able to pull the marine unit. It also has a plow on it for when we get an amount of snow that is plowable. It also has a small 1st in bag with an oxy-caddy and AED for when we run cardiac arrest calls with the local squads. It was striped and the light package and radois were installed by D-11 who did an excellant job.

At the present time the trustees of the fire company are accepting bids from the membership. If no acceptable bids are submitted, then it will be opened up to outsiders that may be interested in purchasing the vehicle.

    Re: Apparatus Happenings

It has been a month or so since I posted what is going on in the county, so here is what is new.  If anyone has anything else to add, please do.

    Many thanks,

    Questions:

LANGHORNE – delivery date of their new engine ?

WARMINSTER      Looks like they got matching 2008 Ford F350 crew cab 4x4 pickup utility units for Station’s 91 & 92.  All red in color. The 1992 Ford Clubwagon & 1985 GMC Sierra/Warner Bodies utility units which the pickups replaced were stripped and sold out of the fire service.

REIGELSVILLE   They got a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe from Northampton (Bucks County) which will become Utility 42.

LEVITTOWN #1   They got a 2009 Ford F350/Reading with a open compartmented utility body diesel, 4-door, snow plow.  Bought it off of a local dealer.  It is all white with a red stripe. Will become Utility 32.

UPPER BLACK EDDY   Took delivery of their International/KME tanker.

    Re: Apparatus Happenings

I see in the latest issue of the PA Fireman that Fall's Twp. is selling their 1993 Pierce Arrow engine.  Have they ordered something to replace this, or are the just downsizing ?

    Many thanks,

    Bruce
